Star of Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush Releases First Single (Stephen Glickman)


Stephen Kramer Glickman, star of Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush, announces the release of his cover of "Hello" by Lionel Richie.



Los Angeles, CA- April 16, 2012- Nickelodeon star Stephen Kramer Glickman of the mega-hit show Big Time Rush announces the release of his first single on iTunes. His cover of Hello by Lionel Richie features Armel the Great from the Wu Tang Clan/Yellow Jackets, and is accompanied by a music video available on YouTube.
Best known for his role as Big Time Rush’s Record Producer, Gustavo Rocque, Glickman is no stranger to the world of music. He has sung on the series numerous times, and originated the role of Shrek in the Broadway workshops of Shrek the Musical.
Brad Ellis, music director of the show Glee, said, “Stephen’s voice is like a secret weapon, and when unleashes it on the world- you’d better watch out!”
“I’ve always been a fan of Lionel Richie,” said Glickman, “and this is my way of saying ‘Hello’ to the millions of fans who watch our show each week.”
The video pays homage to the Lionel Richie original, and was filmed on location in Los Angeles at ComicSmash, the headquarters of National Lampoon, and a beach house in Malibu. It features Jamie Noel, who was most recently seen in The Hangover Part II andJ. Edgar.
