Big Time Rush gets renewed for a fourth season, the band to record third studio album

Boy band Big Time Rush’s show on Nickelodeon has just been picked up for a fourth season.
The band, who’s single “Windows Down” has been rising up the charts, got ordered for a 13-episode Season 4.
The network’s Group Original Programming and Development President Marjorie Cohn told Celebuzz” Our viewers continue to love the stories, music and comedic misadventures of Kendall [Shmidt], James [Maslow], Carlos [Pena] and Logan [Henderson].”
Cohn adds “Their authentic friendship and brotherhood connects them to each other and their audience,” she continued. “Both on camera and when performing in front of thousands of screaming fans.”
TVBytheNumbers provides the press release for the renewal of the show, which reveals that Big Time Rush is within the top 10 shows for kids aged 2-11, 6-11 and tweens 9-14.
Nickelodeon partners with Sony Music to produce the show, which was created by Scott Fellows.
Meanwhile, BSCKids reports that in addition to their show getting renewed, the boys are wrapping up a tour and will begin recording a third studio album soon.
