Big Time Rush recently announced that Victoria Justice will be joining them on their Summer Break Tour and we couldn’t be more excited! We caught up with all of them at their show last night at The House of Blues in Hollywood to hear more about it.
Both Victoria and the BTR boys initially had their own summer tours, but, “We just got together and was like ‘Hey, it’d be really fun if we joined forces and did this together,’” Victoria told us.
The boys and her covered Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” last night, “It was actually their idea,” said Victoria. “We haven’t had a chance for her to write about us so we figured we’d sing her song,” said Kendall Schmidt. “Maybe she’d YouTube it and be like ‘I should write a smash about those guys,’” he added.
Maybe she would, but James Maslow has another theory. “I feel like you need to hang out with her a little bit before she does that,” James said, “You know, hang out.”
What happens when you have the four boys back on the road? “Pranks will definitely be going down,” said Logan Henderson. “We’ll let her [Victoria] have a few free shows though until she’s warmed up from the tour,” added James.
Carlos Pena shared the news that the band will have a new album out this summer, “The name is still top secret,” he said. Aw!
But they did give us one major hint! “The first letter is not a letter,” said James.
