Kendall Talks About Their Big Time Album "24/Seven" with MYX!

Filipino Rushers! MYXph.com recently had a MYXclusive phone interview with Kendall Schmidt of Big Time Rush where we talked about the group, their music, their album and much more!

Big Time Rush started four years ago in a television show of the same name. "The first season became incredibly popular," said Kendall and it has brought them to where they are right now.

The band is out with an album called "24/Seven" which will be released here in the Philippines next month. According to Kendall, "'24/Seven' is our third album and we're really excited about it. We worked hard and we hope that people will enjoy all of the songs that were written by us. This is the time of our lives where we just wanted to make good music. We're very proud of it," he said.

As mentioned, this will be the third album from the band after "BTR" in 2010 and "Elevate" in 2011. Kendall said that "24/Seven" is different from these because of the sound, generally. "It has a different tone. It's more of a fun, summer time, having a good time kind of stuff. It has a different vibe," he added.

In all projects, we always experience some challenges. That's why we asked Kendall about what he thinks was the most challenging part when they were making the album.

"It was hard putting up the parts. Everybody wants to sing everything that we can imagine. That's the most difficult part for sure. Other than that, the writing, everybody loves writing. So definitely, the most difficult thing was putting up the parts," he shared.

Kendall said that the band is hoping that they will get the chance to visit the Philippines soon and he has a message for all the Filipino Rushers out there!

"As always, we appreciate the support and I know that there are a lot of fans in the Philippines. We'd love to come visit and no matter what, we appreciate the support. Hopefully, whether Big Time Rush or individually we'll all be putting up music that you all will love."

"24/Seven" will be released here in the Philippines next month! Are you excited for it?
