TRAILER: Carlos PenaVega Stars in Spare Parts

Last year, our hearts skipped a beat when Carlos PenaVegaannounced that he would be starring in a brand new movie. Today, Carlos finally announced that the first trailer for Spare Parts is officially out!

Back in October 2013, Carlos PenaVega announced his new movie, La Vida Robot. After a name change to Spare Parts and a few months, we can’t believe our eyes. Carlos’ new role is a stark change from his part on Big Time Rush!

He’ll be playing Oscar Vasquez, a student who, along with his friends compete against some big name schools in an underwater robotics competition.

Carlos PenaVega is Working On New Music!

Carlos revealed some very exciting news on his twitter, recently…he’s working on new music! After a full two years, he is back in the studio working on music for his solo career. Even though we are sad that he is making music without the other Big Time Rush boys, we are excited for Carlos and what his future holds! He is so talented, not only as a singer but also as an actor, and we have been especially loving his new Nick series Webheads!

Will There Be A Heffron Drive / Big Time Rush Collaboration?

Kendall Schmidt recently talked to ExtraTV to discuss his upcoming debut album with Heffron Drive, and spilled some amazing details.

Not only does Heffron Drive plan to hit the road after the album hopefully hits shelves this September, but he has a few ideas on who we wants to collaborate with. Do the names James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega and Logan Henderson ring a bell?

Kendall did admit he has been thinking about recruiting the Big Time Rush guys to collaborate with Heffron Drive. He said,“The problem is that if one person is on the album, it will be like picking favorites, so then I would have to have all three of them.”

Proof That Big Time Rush Can Still Crush the Boy Band Competition

Despite the lack of new Big Time Rush music (and the foursome’s Nickelodeon television show), the guys prove that they can still crush the boy band competition to this very day. Now, it’s not to say that we don’t love the others — like One Direction and… uhh, is anyone else around anymore? — but whether they’re all together, or far apart, James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson and Carlos Pena are EVERYTHING. Here, let’s prove it to you:

First off, they had four seasons of a hit series on a major TV station. Can any other boy band say that? Yeah, didn’t think so.

How Did James Maslow's Big Time Rush Bandmates React to His Dancing With the Stars Gig?

James Maslow’s career doesn’t miss a beat. Coming off his successful Big Time Rush tour, the singer and actor jumped at the chance to try his hand–and feet–at something new by joining the season 18 cast of Dancing With the Stars.

“We’re done with the show [Big Time Rush] and we just finished our tour, and we don’t have another one scheduled at the moment,” Maslow said, “Dancing With the Stars is pretty much going to be my priority while I’m writing my solo album and working on the next project. Right now this is actually perfect timing.”
The 23-year-old opened up to Parade.com about his rehearsals, getting advice from Joey Fatone, and doing “something that my grandma’s going to be psyched about.”

Get Parallel on Philippines Radio Project!

Hello Pinoy Rushers and Drivers! We've recently found a post on tumblr regarding 'Getting Parallel on European Radio Project' which the amazing ladies of @1BTREurope have come up with. Our team has decided to apply the same project in order for Parallel as well as Kendall and Big Time Rush to get recognized by not just us but other people who have are not acquainted with our boys and their musical talents so here's what we're going to do:

-Parallel is coming out on iTunes on March 25th so we decided to apply the project @BTREurope is going to do by promoting Parallel on the radio.

-We have a number of radio stations not only situated in Manila but also different parts of the Philippines so due to the fact that Heffron Drive is doing an Asian Tour which would 'possibly' include the Philippines it would be fun and increase the hype if we started promoting not only Parallel and Heffron Drive but also Big Time Rush in the process.

-The plan is, to call, text and tweet as many stations as possible with as many people as possible. Also, we are planning to choose radio stations that we will be calling for the promotions so if you want to suggest a station please tweet us @BTRPhilippines so that we can come up with a list. What we'll be doing is simple, we'll only have to call, text and tweet the said radio stations and that will be it.

-We need as many people as possible so tweet us if you want to help!

-We know the #KendallNewSingle contest already ended but you can still make posters and hang them around your town, to promote Heffron Drive. If you have other ideas to help make them popular here in the Philippines please feel free to inform us.

-The reason we’re doing this project is because we want Heffron Drive to be more known here in thr Philippines, and to get Parallel playing on the radio!!

-Tweet us, RT our tweets and follow our account for more updates on the project (which is originally @1BTREurope 's idea) or Heffron Drive and Big Time Rush here in the Philippines!

Sincerely,
@BTRPhilippines
